The Metro Express announces it’s Winter pitching clinic starting on  

Sunday,  January  17,  2010

 Six weekly sessions will be held concluding Sunday,  February 28 , 2009

Each session will be 1 and 1/4 hours in length. 

Class size will be limited to 16 students.

 The fee for the clinic is $100.

 Individual evaluations and recommendations for each student are performed by our head pitching instructor Zach Green for all students.

 We use a Jugs radar gun to accurately time each student’s pitching speed at every clinic session. 

Each student is placed into a group with other students who are on the same skill level to maximize teaching and learning effectiveness. 

The clinic is structured into four different levels starting with level one for beginner pitchers and continuing on to level four, which is for the very advanced pitcher.

 All students will be continuously challenged by the instructors to maximize their skill development and attain maximum individual achievement.

 The instructors for the pitching clinic will be the coaching staff of the Metro Express ASA Junior Olympic softball program.

The Metro Express pitching clinic has long been recognized as Western Pennsylvania’s best.  Year after year the areas most successful pitchers are       students of our clinic.

 The Metro Express pitching clinic has produced many section champions, WPIAL champions, and PA State champion pitchers over the last 26 years. The list of successful current and former high school and college pitchers who have attended our clinic is too long to list.  Proof positive that the Metro Express fast pitch clinic provides the best instruction and produces the best results.

 Registrations will be accepted in the order they are received.  Applicants are advised to register early to assure placement in the clinic.  We normally get more applicants then we can place in the clinic.

 High school coaches may reserve space for their high school pitchers by contacting us in advance of their registration.

 The clinic registration form is enclosed and includes a complete description of each of the four levels.

 Return the clinic registration form along with a check for the clinic fee of $100 to the address indicated on the form.
